3. Cut the spraying wand down to about 6", but if there is a bend in the sprayer, don't cut into that.
   
   
4. Fill the spraying system with water and pump it to make sure that there are no leaks.
   
   
5. Next, paint the jug black. You can also cover it with thermal material to help the water inside the jug get good and hot for your shower.
   
   
6. You can make a stand for your home made solar water heater by making a triangle out of the PVC piping and attach a tarp to it for a shower curtain.
