It is also the only way you will be completely confident as to what ingredients are going on your skin. This article will give you a good start on home made skin bleaches.

Easy To Make Home Made Skin Bleaches

For those of you who do not have a lot of time, or don't like complicated directions, here are some basic and easy homemade skin bleach recipes.

  • Gram Flour and Turmeric: To make this bleach, you need to take 2 tbsp gram flour and a pinch of turmeric in a bowl. Mix it well and then add a few drops of milk and lemon juice. Stir to make a paste. Apply a thick layer of this mixture on your skin and let it dry. Use a damp cloth to gently rub it off your skin. This homemade bleach will also help remove unwanted hair after a few months.

  • Cucumber, Potato and Tomato: With regular application, using the juices of cucumber, potato and tomato individually or in combination helps to whiten skin. Tomatoes have anti-oxidant properties that help with the skin lightening process. Cucumbers and potato have the added benefit of helping to reduce blemishes on the skin. Applying the juice of these ingredients on your face overnight and washing with cold water in the morning gives your face a healthy, natural glow.

  • Oatmeal and Olive Oil: This homemade skin bleach can be prepared by mixing 2 tbsp oatmeal and 1 tsp olive oil along with 1 tbsp plain yogurt and a drop of lemon juice. Make a paste and apply it on your skin. Allow it to dry and then wash it off with cold water. Gently pat the skin dry and apply moisturizer.

  • Corn Flour and Almond Oil: This is a very effective skin bleach that can be prepared easily at home. Mix 2 tbsp corn flour and 2 tsp almond oil. Add a few drops of lemon juice and apply to skin. Let dry for about 20 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water. This bleach really helps to make the skin lighter and smoother.

  • Orange Peels: This homemade skin bleach recipe is fun because you can eat the oranges and save your peels to use for the recipe! Dry some orange peels for a few days. Once the peels harden, grind them into a fine powder and mix the powder with raw milk, then apply the mixture on your face. This is a powerful bleach to lighten the skin complexion and to remove blemishes. Applying it twice a week helps give you a glowing skin.

Tips For Homemade Skin Bleach

  • Don't expect instant results after using homemade bleaches - be patient.

  • Don't apply a homemade skin bleach anywhere near your eyes or ears.

  • Always test your recipe on a small patch of skin prior to using it on the rest of your body, especially your face. The patch test will warn you of any allergies.
