You can spend a lot of money or little at all and still have the best experience in the world. It all comes down to what you believe makes a nice idea of romance better than any other. Here are some Valentine's Day creative ideas for you to think about.
Even if you don't see something here that really hits home for you, hopefully you'll find some inspiration in it that will get your own ideas coming to life.
A romantic lunch at work
Alright, so this idea doesn't sound all that wonderful, but just think about it for a moment. We don't get to take off on Valentine's Day when it falls during the work week. We all still need to trudge on down to our jobs and put in our time. If you have a special lady or man in your life, what about surprising him or her on this lover's holiday with a homemade picnic-style lunch? It doesn't matter if you head on down to the cafeteria to eat or out to the car, the thought is what's going to matter, and it will certainly get some people talking in the office.
Red rose petals on the bed
Women may fantasize about having their lover lay them down on a bed of rose petals, but not many of them actually share this fantasy with their lovers. They may talk about it with their girlfriends, but it rarely ever goes beyond that. Now is the time to make her hidden (or not-so-hidden) fantasy come to life.
For this Valentine's Day creative idea, you want to make sure that you buy enough roses so that you have enough petals to cover the bed. We're not talking about an inch worth of roses where you can't even see the comforter, but enough so that it's not like just lying down on the bed with some miscellaneous stuff stuck to it.
And guys, not that this needs to be mentioned, but make sure that you only place the petals on the bed, not the entire rose. Nothing will kill a romantic mood faster than having to pick out thorns from your lover's back.
Scavenger hunt for treasure
You can do this Valentine's Day creative idea one-on-one, and you can make this game as sexy and provocative as you want. Have your lover find a list of items that lead to clues where the next item will be. The ultimate goal, of course, should be to guide him or her to the bedroom where you will undoubtedly have the most important prize of the day waiting just for her.
These are just a couple Valentine's Day creative ideas that you can use for you next special romantic day. If you really want to make Valentine's Day even more special, why not get into the habit of doing these little things consistently all year long?
