• Quote a film.

• Send your partner on a scavenger hunt.

  Using your text messages, send your partner on a sexy scavenger hunt through the house or the neighborhood.
  
  

• Make a list.

  Make a list of all the reasons that you love your partner and send them examples, one at a time, throughout the day. This romantic text message can help brighten their day, especially if they are having a bad one.
  
  

• Be naughty.

  If you want to add some spice to your love life, then consider sending some naughty messages your partner's way throughout the day. However, you want to be careful here and make sure that you are actually sending them to the right person and not to everyone on your list.
  
  

• Play the memory game.

  If you and your partner did something romantic in the past, whether it was take a trip or have a nice romantic meal, then play the memory game and send them a reminder. It will put a smile on their face and perhaps even encourage them to plan a new romantic endeavor with you.
  
  

• Finish the sentence..

  Instead of sending a complete message, play a game with your partner and have them finish your sentence. For instance, you might send the text that reads: "I love you more than ___." Have them do the same back to you.
  
  

• Create a code.

  Sometimes, the best romantic text messages are the ones that other people are unable to decipher. Create a code between the two of you that only the two of you know and are familiar with. That way, when they receive the message, they will know that it's only meant for them.
  
  

• Keep it simple.

  With all of the abbreviations, signs, symbols, and other shortcuts that are used today in the written language, sometimes a simple "I love you" is the best romantic text message of all. Spell it out completely and keep the heart optional.
