  • 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • Pepper, to taste

In a saucepan, add ground beef, garlic powder, and onion. Cook until the meat is done and then drain. Add the chopped mushroom stems, 1 tablespoon of butter, breadcrumbs, and pepper to taste. Cook for an additional 5 minutes and then add the heavy cream.

Next, dip the mushroom caps in the melted butter and then stuff with the meat mixture. Place the stuffed mushrooms in a baking dish.

Cook at 425 degrees F for about 20 to 25 minutes and serve warm.

  • 7 large eggs, hard-boiled and peeled
  • 1/4 cup light mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • Pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnishing
  • Pimentos for garnishing

Directions for this Thanksgiving appetizer recipe:

Boil the eggs, allow to cool, and then peel them. Cut them lengthwise, then remove the yolks and place the yolks in a small bowl. Take a fork and mash up the yolks. Add mayonnaise, mustard, and then pepper to taste.

Fill up the egg whites with the mixture and sprinkle the paprika on the top. Garnish with the pimentos and place in the refrigerator to cool. Serve cold.

  • 1 loaf French bread, cut into slices
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Butter one side of each piece of bread, and then sprinkle the cheese and the bacon bits evenly on the bread. Bake at 350 degrees F for between 8 to 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the bread is crisp. Serve warm.

Ingredients for this Thanksgiving appetizer recipe:

  • 1 bag frozen peas
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
  • 1/2 cup cheese
  • Salt, to taste

In a saucepan, cook peas as the instructions state. Add the butter, honey, cheese, and lemon-pepper seasoning. Add salt to taste. Serve warm.

  • 1 bag frozen meatballs
  • 1 can chili sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Directions for this Thanksgiving appetizer recipe:

Combine chili sauce, chili powder, and brown sugar in a saucepan and stir over medium heat for a couple of minutes until mixed thoroughly. Add the meatballs and cook for about 25 minutes or until meatballs are hot. Arrange on a platter.

For this Thanksgiving appetizer recipe, all you need are square shaped pretzels and a bag of caramel chocolates or mini Reese cups.

Spray a cookie sheet with PAM cooking spray and place the pretzels side by side on the sheet. Lay a chocolate piece on top of each pretzel and place another pretzel on the top. (Like a sandwich.)

Heat the oven to 200 degrees F and heat the pretzel bits for about 5 minutes or until the chocolate is slightly melted. Allow to cool and serve.
