Baby Shower Punch Recipes - Great Drinks for Your Party

Are you looking for baby shower punch recipes you could use?

When you're having a baby shower, the right punch recipe can be easily forgotten, but can make the occasion. The key is to choose whether you will make only a non-alcoholic punch, or if you'd like to cater to both your guests and the mommy to be.

Often, when you are having many guests, it's fun to make some of the same punches that you would make for a bridal shower and incorporate some non-alcoholic choices as well.

Check out some ideas for all occasion punches and turn them into your award winning baby shower punch recipes:

Recipes with alcohol

White Sangria

Consider a sparkling White Sangria for your baby shower punch recipe. While this might not really be a "punch," it's a recipe for a light, bubbly drink that has a little extra punch.

You will need:

  • 1.5 oz. of Triple Sec
  • 1.5 cups of apricot nectar
  • 1 bottle of sparkling white wine

    Directions:

  • Mix all of the ingredients together in a pitcher and chill.
  • Serve it in wine glasses for a touch of sophistication.
  • This batch serves six, so if you're having a lot of guests, you might want to double or triple the recipe.

    Berry Vodka Spritzers

Once again, this isn't a baby shower punch recipe, per se, but it will be a big hit with your guests, and if you're hosting a baby shower on a hot summer day, this is refreshing and tasty.

    You will need:

  • 1 liter of club soda
  • 1 cup of berry flavored vodka
  • 4 limes
  • 1 cup of raspberries
  • 1 cup of blueberries
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar
  • Ice

    Directions:

  • Cut the limes in half and squeeze them into a pitcher. You can also cut the squeezed limes up and add them to the pitcher.
  • Add the sugar and mix well.
  • Add the club soda and vodka and stir.
  • Add the raspberries and blueberries and stir again.
  • Pour the mixture over ice.
  • This batch serves 8, so double the recipe if you have more guests.

    Fizzy Sorbet Cocktail

This is a fun and refreshing drink choice that can do double duty as dessert, and your guests will love it. Plus, it's really easy for you to make, and anything that tastes this good and takes such a little amount of time should always be considered. The recipe serves six, though, so this is often better for a smaller, intimate baby shower.

    Before you start:

  • Chill six martini glasses in the freezer for at least 30 minutes to make sure that they are frosted and icy cold.

    You will need:

  • Sorbet of different flavors. You can use peach, pineapple, coconut or hibiscus, but you can also use your favorites.
  • Chilled champagne or sparkling wine, depending on your preference.

    Directions:

  • Fill each chilled martini glass with five or six mini-scoops of sorbet. You can use different flavors or use all the same.
  • Pour the cold champagne or sparkling wine over the sorbet and serve.

    Non-alcohol punch recipes

Now, it's always important to remember the mommy-to-be and any other guests that might not be drinkers at a baby shower and plan baby shower punch recipes for them as well. These are fun, taste great, and are so easy to make.

    Tickled Pink Bubbly

This baby shower punch recipe can be made "virgin," which is also fun for kids. It tastes great and light and it's simple to make, but if you're making it, it's easiest to make it in batches of two.

    You will need:

  • 1 cup of ginger ale
  • 1/4 cup of maraschino cherry juice
  • Maraschino cherries

    Directions:

  • Pour a half cup of ginger ale in each of two wine glasses.
  • Split the quarter cup of cherry juice between the two glasses and garnish with the cherries.

    Pink Grapefruit Spritzers

The ping and zing of these spritzers offer a light, refreshing punch for your baby shower. This baby shower punch recipe serves eight, as it is, though, and if you're planning to serve many people, consider adding the fruit to the punch just before serving.

    You will need:

  • A half cup of raspberries
  • One pink grapefruit
  • One navel orange
  • Mint sprigs for garnish
  • 5 cups of grapefruit tangerine cocktail
  • 1 liter bottle of club soda

Directions for this baby shower punch recipe:

  • Make sure that the club soda and fruit juice are very cold.
  • In the mean time, remove all of the peel and pith (white part) from the grapefruit and orange. Cut the membranes so that you can let the sections drop into a bowl. Be sure to squeeze the membranes of juice into the bowl as well.
  • Drain the juice from the bowl into a pitcher and add the juice cocktail and club soda to the pitcher and mix well.
  • Divide the citrus sections and raspberries between goblets or glasses and pour the mixture in.

Hopefully, these baby shower punch recipes will be a great start for you to create the perfect refreshments for your occasion. Have a great party!
