Paper Heart Wreath
For this Valentine craft idea, you will need various colored pieces of construction paper, glue, markers, scissors, and glitter.
To make a paper heart wreath, you will need to cut out between 10 to 15 small hearts, depending on how large you want the wreath to be. You can make the wreath as big or small as you would like it.
Once you've cut out the hearts, you can write sweet sentiments on each one, such as, "I love you", "hugs", "kisses", "forever", and so on. Once you've finished that, overlap one heart slightly onto another and glue together. Continue overlapping the hearts until the wreath is complete. You can add glitter to the wreath if you'd like. The wreath is now complete and you can give it away or keep it for yourself.
Homemade Valentine Cards
Another Valentine craft idea is homemade cards, which always go a long way with people. The time and personal sentiments that go into making a card means more than going to the store and purchasing one. This Valentine's Day, consider making a personal card for your loved ones.
For this Valentine craft idea, you will need cardstock paper, markers, and any other decorating items of your choice. It can be any color that you'd like. Fold the paper in half or in quarters. On the outside, you can write a sweet sentiment, draw a picture, or cut out a heart and paste it on the front.
On the inside, you can write a poem or a personal message from your heart. If it comes from your heart, the recipient will greatly appreciate your sentiments and most likely cherish that card forever.
Poster Board Picture Collage
It's always fun to look at pictures of our loved ones, and that is why this craft is so fun to make and give away as a gift as well. For this Valentine craft idea, you will need a poster board, pictures of you and your loved ones, glue, markers, and any additional decorative items such as glitter or stickers.
Go through your pictures and choose ones that you want to add to your collage. You can cut them into shapes or just leave them rectangular in shape and glue them to your poster board. With the marker, you can write sweet sentiments or comments such as, "Remember this?" or "This day was so special."
Once you're done writing your sentiments, you can add glitter or stickers to the collage as well. Children tend to love this craft and love to give it away or keep it for themselves so they can look at all the fun they've had with their loved ones.
We hope you will enjoy the above Valentine craft ideas. Have fun!
